We have heard on very good authority that Senator Bill Nelson (D-FL) has decided not to offer an amendment that would eliminate the tax deductibility of DTC advertising costs to the Senate Finance Committee's healthcare reform package.
Senator Nelson wrote on Friday that he intended to offer such an amendment. ANA wrote a letter to the Senator today explaining why eliminating the deductibility was a bad idea.
