On December 20th, on a vote of 103-92, the Pennsylvania House of Representatives passed a property tax relief bill that would broadly extend the sales tax to cover advertising and a number of other business services. The bill, Senate Bill 854, is now pending before the Senate and the Senate Committee on Legislation held a hearing on the bill yesterday.
