The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is holding discussions at their open commission meeting on Tuesday, December 18 regarding the use of embedded advertising (or product placement) in media. ANA, along with the American Association of Advertising Agencies (AAAA) and the American Advertising Federation (AAF), have provided the FCC with a letter asking it to consider a Notice of Inquiry (NOI) rather than initiating a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM).
