Lisa Bacus is responsible for Cigna’s global marketing and communications capabilities, as well as the company’s service operations. Her responsibilities include strategic market planning, data analytics and insights, market research, branding, digital marketing, customer experience, communications, public relations, and all service functions for customers and clients in the U.S. She also serves as president of the Cigna Foundation.
Ms. Bacus joined the company in May of 2013 after a successful 22-year career with the Ford Motor Co., followed by five years at American Family Insurance.
Ms. Bacus has won four Effie awards, and has been recognized with numerous leadership and civic awards. She serves on several boards in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors, and is actively involved in the community. She earned undergraduate degrees from Northern Arizona University and an M.B.A. from Duke University.
