Alex Colvin manages the creative content and production department at General Mills. He spent his first six years at GMI working as the lead producer and creative for their international operating units creating campaigns in Asia, Canada, the Middle East, and with Häagen-Dazs globally. In 2016, Mr. Colvin moved to a broader role overseeing the global production team and led initiatives consolidating talent and traffic responsibilities across the North American business, as well as building out GMI’s internal creative agency, The Bellshop. Previously, he worked as an integrated producer for Campbell Mithun and Fallon in his native Minneapolis with clients Alberto-Culver, Citibank, Famous Footwear, Purina and Unilever. Alex started his career in Hungry Man’s New York City office, where he worked with MTV, Black & Decker and 7Up, but mostly just got people coffee and moved folding chairs around video village.
