Brian J. Meli is associate general counsel for Anheuser-Busch’s (A-B) marketing and distribution group. In this role, he oversees all commercial legal and regulatory support for A-B’s core portfolio of brands, including the King of Beers, Budweiser; America’s number-one selling beer, Bud Light; and Michelob Ultra, the fastest-growing beer brand in the U.S. In previous roles with A-B, Mr. Meli served as associate general counsel for value brands, the company’s subpremium segment; as well as for The High End, A-B’s U.S. craft and imports division. Prior to joining Anheuser-Busch, Brian was corporate counsel at Launchpad Advertising, an “Inc. 500” interactive and digital agency. A two-decade veteran of the advertising industry, Mr. Meli’s career has spanned multiple disciplines across numerous agencies, including McCann New York and Momentum Worldwide. Brian received his Juris Doctor and Master of Laws in intellectual property from the University of New Hampshire School of Law.
