Carla R. Michelotti helps clients successfully navigate advertising, digital, intellectual property, privacy, business and regulatory challenges. She is recognized as a key communication industry strategist and advocate of commercial free speech and self-regulation. Ms. Michelotti has received many honors, including being elected to the Advertising Hall of Fame after retirement as the executive VP, chief legal, government and corporate affairs officer of Leo Burnett Worldwide. Additional awards include the Anti-Defamation League’s Women of Achievement Award and being named the Chicago Catholic Lawyer of the Year. Carla is on the Advertising Self-Regulatory Council and several boards including the European Advertising Standards Authority (EASA), International Advertising Association (IAA), American Advertising Federation (AAF), Junior Achievement of Chicago, Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana and DePaul University. She is a past AAF chair, currently a vice-chair of United States Council for International Business marketing committee, an American Bar Association and Illinois State Bar Association fellow and an active member of The Economic Club of Chicago. Carla has a Bachelor of Arts in political science, a Juris Doctor, and an honorary doctorate from DePaul University.
