Jason Mueller is dedicated to providing responsive and practical advice and counsel to his clients on intellectual property and advertising issues. He represents client interests in federal courts, in international tribunals, at alternative dispute resolution venues and at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in matters related to trademarks, trade dress, false advertising, copyright, publicity and trade secrets. Mr. Mueller serves as lead trial counsel in copyright, trademark, patent, publicity and false advertising matters. He assists clients with the development, administration and strategies for the protection of intellectual property rights. Jason provides strategic counseling on trademark portfolio management, prosecution, and oppositions and cancellation actions before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the USPTO. He has substantial experience handling all aspects of advertising and marketing law, including sweepstakes, contests, raffles and other promotions. Mr. Mueller has performed regulatory compliance reviews, and developed and instituted compliance programs to manage risk related to advertising, social media initiatives and company communications, including behavioral tracking activity and content management and acquisition. His advertising experience extends to highly regulated industries such as insurance, petroleum and transportation. Jason is a member of the Dallas and Texas bar associations and was named a “Texas Rising Star” by Texas Monthly.
