Michelle Peluso oversees all global marketing and brand initiatives, strategy, and execution for IBM. Her team includes thousands of marketing professionals located in hundreds of countries worldwide. She brings to IBM deep, customer-centric marketing and leadership experience.
Prior to IBM, Ms. Peluso was CEO of the fashion retailer Gilt, the global consumer chief marketing and internet officer at Citigroup, and the CEO at Travelocity.
Ms. Peluso serves on the board of directors for NIKE, the nonprofit TechnoServe, and Tech: NYC. She is also a strategic advisor at Technology Crossover Ventures (TCV), a Palo Alto, Calif.-based venture capital firm backed by companies including Facebook, Spotify, Netflix, and Zillow.
Ms. Peluso received an M.A. in philosophy, politics, and economics from Pembroke College at Oxford University, where she was a Thoroun Scholar, and a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.
