Ivan Pollard joined Coca-Cola in 2011 as vice president of global connections, guiding that community to re-engineer the company’s philosophies and practices to identify the smartest ways to engage consumers, customers and constituents with content, conversations and experiences. In 2013, Advertising Age named him a "Media Maven," and in 2014, he moved to the North American business unit as SVP of connections, investments and assets. Prior to joining Coca-Coca, Mr. Pollard was a global partner at Naked Communications, the world's largest connections planning company. He has 25 years of experience working in communications planning in agencies such as BMP, DDB, Needham, Wieden+Kennedy and his own company, Unity, London’s first independent strategic connections planning agency. Over the span of his agency career, Ivan worked repeatedly for big, global clients, including handling global connections strategy for Star Wars: Episodes I, II and III. He has a Bachelor of Science in physics from Nottingham University.
