A 10-year veteran of Walmart, Tony Rogers currently serves as chief marketing officer and leads a team of marketing experts from U.S. stores, Walmart.com and Jet.com. He is responsible for U.S. marketing, customer experience, creative and media functions, in addition to digital marketing, including Walmart.com and customer insights and analytics. Before becoming CMO for Walmart U.S., Mr. Rogers served as the CMO for Walmart China. His responsibilities included leading traditional, digital and social media efforts for stores in China, as well as for Walmart-branded online-to-offline initiatives there. During his two years in China, he focused on driving the day-to-day business while also building a world-class marketing function in the country. Tony has served in several leadership roles in the Walmart U.S. marketing organization, including senior vice president, marketing and vice president, advertising. He was best known during this time for his work on Walmart's "Save Money, Live Better" rebranding initiative, revamping the company's advertising approach and championing multicultural marketing. Prior to joining Walmart, Tony spent six years in PepsiCo's Frito-Lay division in various brand marketing roles on the Tostitos and Doritos brands, and was also a member of the Walmart customer team.
