Eugene Santos joined Kia Motors America in June of 2016, as Sr. Manager, Digital and Social Media Marketing. In his role, Eugene and his team are responsible for the creation of brand building strategies which are implemented in Kia’s model launches and campaigns on various Digital and Social Media efforts. In his current tenure, Eugene has been involved in the launching of various model campaigns and is proud to be part of a larger marketing team that has recently been recognized for their work in the Kia Niro Super Bowl 2017 Campaign. The team’s work led to the receipt of the YouTube AdBlitz and USA Today Ad Meter Award for Best Super Bowl Commercial; a first for an Automotive OEM to win in the same year. Prior to Kia, Eugene has held several marketing positions in his professional career including Multicultural Marketing and Latin America Sales and Marketing strategy for companies such as American Honda Motors, Walt Disney Company and 3M. Eugene received his MBA from the University of Southern California and on his spare time likes to compete in triathlons, he is a two time Ironman competitor.
