David Selby leads SCC, an independent, high-growth creative and technology agency based in Chicago. In addition to the Chicago Cubs, clients include Johnson & Johnson, PepsiCo, Procter & Gamble, and The National Pork Board.
Previously, Mr. Selby led marketing for Sears, Roebuck and Co. and Potbelly Sandwich Works, where he was the fast casual restaurant’s first CMO. Prior to these roles, he spent more than 18 years in the advertising agency business with Leo Burnett, where he served as a senior client service executive.
Mr. Selby has served on the boards of the ANA, Ad Council, YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago, and Gilda’s Club Chicago, where he is currently the chairman of the governing board.
He holds a B.A. from Amherst College and an M.B.A from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
