Greg Via has been the global head of sports and entertainment marketing at The Gillette Company since 2007. Mr. Via is responsible for Gillette’s involvement in the global sports marketplace. Currently, he manages the global partnership with FC Barcelona and Gillette’s football players, including Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior, Thomas Müller and Antoine Griezmann. Greg works with the Gillette North American leadership to leverage Gillette’s involvement with the NFL, NASCAR, WWE and MLB. He is also a member of the Procter & Gamble Olympic core team that works to activate P&G and its family of brands on a global Olympic platform. Formerly, Mr. Via was the vice president of alliance and licensing at New Era Cap. Prior, he was the vice president of worldwide corporate sponsorship at Motorola and the director of worldwide sports marketing at Gatorade. Greg was the track coach at LSU and the University of Tennessee. He is a native of Clifton Forge, Virginia and a graduate of Bridgewater College and the University of Tennessee. Greg resides in Boston with his wife, Vicki.
