This event is over.

Session Topic

Note: Due to a sudden scheduling conflict, Lori Healey, CEO of the Metropolitan Pier & Exposition Authority, will be replacing Choose Chicago CEO Don Welsh at our March 10th Luncheon.

Joining Ms. Healey on stage for a rapid fire session will be Choose Chicago's SVP of Marketing and Cultural Tourism Melissa Cherry, and BMA Board Member Michael Krauss, President, Market Strategy Group, as host and moderator of the discussion.

Chicago is one of only three U.S. cities to welcome more than 50 million visitors annually. In 2015, Chicago set new records; strategy, marketing research, setting revenue and marketing goals at its best.

Explore a rare inside look of the marketing and leadership strategy with two of Chicago’s dynamic industry leaders who will provide critical insight into how Chicago is being marketed as a business and leisure travel destination to the regional, national, and international markets. Lori and Melissa will highlight how Chicago’s meetings and convention industry and large-scale events contribute to Chicago's goal of welcoming 55 million visitors to Chicago by 2020.
