While using the "newer" media types and executions like programmatic, we still connect with printed materials in regard to our Balance Rewards program, direct mail, circular, and catalog. David Sturrus, Senior Director, Marketing and Media Strategy and Planning – Walgreen Company

III. NETWORKING LUNCH (12:15 – 1:00 PM)

IV. THE AGENCY COMPENSATION EQUALIZER
(1:00 – 1:45PM)
Good music is not determined by the volume control alone. The song, the instrumentation, the speakers, amplifier and EQ, all play a role in what sounds good to each individual listener. This same thought process holds true when reviewing agency compensation. What is best for one brand, in one region, on one project, may not be valuable for anyone else. Simply looking at hourly rates or overall cost, does not guarantee good value for money. In this session, Steven Wales from Decideware will walk through the Agency Compensation Equalizer and demonstrate what any organization can do to maximize the value of their marketing investment.

Speaker:
Steven Wales, Chief Revenue Officer - Decideware

V. MANAGING AGENCIES GLOBALLY IN A DECENTRALIZED ORG (1:45 – 2:30PM)
In this session, Ed Symington, director of global marketing procurement at McDonald's Corporation, will share how they tackle managing a global roster of agencies. This can be difficult to accomplish without global stakeholder support in a decentralized organization. McDonald's will share how they do it and how they provide subject-matter expert knowledge from the center to the marketing teams around the world.
