I. VIEWS OF A WALL STREET ANALYST (9:45-11am)
Peter Stabler is an analyst covering the advertising and media sectors for Wells Fargo. Agencies he covers include IPG, Omnicom, MDC Partners and WPP. Peter also covers media companies such as AOL and Demand Media. Peter will give his perspective primarily on the agency scene - state of the advertising business overall, strengths/weaknesses of various players, etc. We've had sessions with a Wall Street perspective in previous committee meetings and they can be fascinating!

Speaker:
Peter Stabler
, Digital Media/Advertising Equity Research - Wells Fargo

II. INTEGRATED MARKETING (11:15am-12:15pm)
ANA will soon be releasing a new white paper focused on integrated marketing. The white paper is based on a survey whose objective was to analyze the issues marketers face when implementing integrated marketing programs. The findings uncover a number of interesting challenges and opportunities and includes a robust section devoted to agencies-e.g., skill sets agencies must have to develop/implement effective integrated marketing; how agencies can maximize integrated marketing effectiveness; and more. We'll share the results and discuss the implications in this session.

Facilitator:
Bill Duggan
, Group EVP - ANA

III. MEMBER ROUNDTABLE: MAXIMIZING INTEGRATED MARKETING
(after lunch)
Often, the best learning at ANA committee meetings comes from member roundtable discussions with your peers from other companies. Following up on the morning session, we'll discuss best practices for maximizing integrated marketing-both internally and with agency partners.

Facilitator:
Bruno Gralpois
, Head of Global Marketing Operations - Visa

IV. OTHER BUSINESS
Other issues:

  • Guidelines for Agency Search: ANA and 4A's worked collaboratively to develop a guidance paper titled ANA/4A's Guidelines for Agency Search
  • Member "Show & Tell" appreciated: Would anyone be able to share a case study or experience related to your agency relationship (e.g., recent work, processes, etc)?
