I. DISCOVER FINANCIAL SERVICES: THE 2015 IHAF IN-HOUSE AGENCY OF THE YEAR

At just over 50 team members, INCITE, the internal creative agency at Discover Financial Services is small compared to the nearly 15,000 employees companywide. Nevertheless, the team's impact spans the enterprise as they develop brand guidelines, collaborate with internal business partners and external agencies, and ensure consistency across all marketing channels and consumer touch points.  In this session, Kevin Beauseigneur, Director – Discover Financial Services, will give attendees an inside look into INCITE's cooperative approach and relationship strategies which helps them build strong bonds with partners and vendors alike and allows them to action as a consumer-centric thought equity partner within Discover.

II. CARS.COM: PROVING THE VALUE OF YOUR MARKETING TEAM AND IN-HOUSE AGENCY

In this session, Maureen Boyle, Director, Creative Services & Events – Cars.com will share five ways to prove the value of your marketing team.  She will then delve into a case study on how the Cars.com internal agency, Team IDEA, seized the opportunity to improve the sophistication of its operations—evolving processes, improving communications, and enhancing project visibility using Workfront.

III. LUNCH AND MEMBER ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION: IN-HOUSE AGENCY BEST PRACTICES
(12:00 – 1:00PM)
Led by representatives from State Farm's In-House Agency, ANA Integrated Marketing Committee members will have an opportunity to network and discuss best practices for creating or improving an organization's in-house capabilities. Topics that will be covered include:

  1. Organizational structure
  2. Serving as THE in-house creative agency
  3. Maximizing high value relationships and simply managing others
  4. Attracting and retaining top talent
  5. Working with outside agencies

 

We will also open the floor for members to suggest topics for future meetings.

IV. WILSON SPORTING GOODS: THE GREAT, THE BAD AND THE MISUNDERSTOOD

Behind the creative scenes at this 101-year-old iconic sporting goods brand, Stu Cohn, Global Creative Director – Wilson Creative Group, and his team are doing their part to help Wilson break the $1B barrier. In this session, hear how Wilson Sporting Goods is running their in-house agency, trying to make "it" happen and Stu's dual role as the first truly global Creative Director and Wilson's first-ever "Brand Sherpa" for their global network.
