Transparency issues have been on the minds of all marketers for a while now. Cassidy Sehgal, Vice President, Digital and Advertising Counsel at L’Oreal USA and Keri Bruce, Attorney with Reed Smith LLP will give you an update on hot issues in the media industry involving transparency, fraud, and data ownership and why you and your business team should care about them.

II.    IMPORTANT RECENT INNOVATIONS IN THE DAA SELF-REGULATION PROGRAM (3:00 – 3:45 PM)
In recent months, the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA) unveiled a series of new guidance and implementation guidelines for the U.S. market that address the latest innovations in interest-based advertising.  In this briefing by DAA Counsel Michael Signorelli, Committee members will be provided insights and understanding of the new DAA resources available for ANA members including:

•    Video interest-based ads
•    Transparency and user control for cross-device data collection for IBA
•    A first-of-its-kind mobile interface for cross-app data collection for Spanish speakers – AppChoices en Español

The briefing will also provide ANA members the chance to discuss any other aspects of the DAA program of importance to them.
