Vail Resorts, Inc. created EpicMix, which is a revolutionary technology-based solution for the ski industry that tracks activity on the ski slopes and uploads information into a dashboard for skiers to earn points and share across their social networks. This award-winning campaign integrates multiple technology providers and creative teams to create and maintain this exciting experience for avid skiers. In this session, David R. Mitchell, Vice President, Creative - SapientNitro will share the evolution of this campaign, lessons and insights learned, and discuss the next phase of this work.

Showrooming is changing the rules of retail. As more shoppers use mobile devices in stores to check prices, read reviews, comparison shop and get input, retailers, brands, app platforms and ecommerce pure-plays are all scrambling to win this new Mobile Moment of Truth.
In this session, Mark Logan, Senior Vice President, Digital Innovation – Barkley will provide insights into the growing use of mobile devices in store based on results from a new research study conducted for Sprint Corporation. The session will explain why consumers use mobile devices at retail, how they use them and the strategies retailers and ecommerce sites should pursue to win the Mobile Moment of Truth.
