In this session, Tim Sabo, Global Creative Director – Krispy Kreme and Mark Logan, Senior Vice President, Digital Innovation – Barkley will review the successful integrated mobile case study for the Krispy Kreme Hot Light App campaign that merges the physical and mobile worlds, innovates at a "sweet" spot for consumers, and leverages innovative mobile trends. II. THE NEW YORK TIMES: MOBILE RESEARCH AND CROSS PLATFORM STUDY RESULTS (11:00AM-12:00PM)
Currently, digital news consumers get information from web-native sources, but turn to "established" outlets like the The New York Times, CNN, etc. for major events and mobile news. This is one of several findings in a national survey, commissioned by The New York Times, which examines the cross-platform behaviors of news consumers. In this session, Brian Brett, Executive Director, Customer Research – The New York Times will discuss the survey's results, including explanations on how different social networks are used for news consumption and differences between mobile and non-mobile news consumers.
