I. HISCOX: ENCOURAGING COURAGE WITH TOUGH MUDDER (10:00-11:00AM)
At Hiscox, they believe that life is not for the fainthearted – that's why they are proud to be the insurer that always encourages courage on the part of entrepreneurs and small business owners. In this session, Russ Findlay, Head of Marketing – Hiscox will discuss their partnership with Tough Mudder, a company that produces some of the toughest events on the planet – a series of obstacle courses focused on strength, stamina, mental grit, teamwork and camaraderie.

II. WORKING WITH CELEBRITIES WITHOUT SEEING STARS (11:15AM-12:15PM)
In this session, attendees will hear an overview of best practices and common pitfalls when engaging celebrities. Marketers will learn the key insights on legal issues pertaining to the use and misuse of celebrities as endorsees and in advertising materials. Keri Bruce, Senior Associate – Reed Smith LLP will share real life examples and case studies so to avoid getting stardust in your eyes.

III. UNITED STATES GOLF ASSOCIATION: OPEN FOR ALL™ COMMUNITY PROGRAMMING
(1:00-2:00PM)
The United States Golf Association (USGA) annually conducts 13 golf championships, and none bigger than the prestigious U.S. Open Championship. In this session, Greg Ross, Manager, Branded & Special Events – USGA, will share insights on how the USGA leverages the "grand stage" of the U.S. Open to build unique events and experiences that influence U.S. Open host communities at a local, regional, and national level. Community programming is highlighted by a U.S. Open Trophy Tour, and an exhibit that teaches children about S.T.E.M. principles through the lens of golf.

IV. MEMBER ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION (2:00-2:30PM)
ANA member roundtable discussions are great ways to share experiences and perspectives on specific topics while learning from your peers. In this session, we will open up the discussion to talk about issues that ANA Sponsorship & Event Marketing Committee members are facing and build upon those topics to explore in future meetings.
