Dan Jaffe from ANA's Washington office will present the latest from DC on advertising tax issues, food advertising to children, recent developments on consumer privacy (including self-regulation and "do not track") and will discuss pending key court cases affecting advertising.

III.    Update on ICANN TLD issue (11:00 – 11:30 am)
ANA's General Counsel, Doug Wood, will discuss what's been happening with the efforts of the Coalition for Responsible Internet Domain Oversight (CRIDO), including an update on ICANN's Prague meeting and the recent decision of the Department of Commerce to award a new contract to the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority.

IV.    FTC Concerns re “Up To” claims (11:30 – 12:00 pm)
The FTC recently released a study on "up to" claims about products in advertisements - claims that consumers will see a savings from their use of the advertised product "up to" a certain percentage or dollar amount.  The study found that consumers often believe that they will receive the maximum benefit described in the ad.  Paul Franz from Procter & Gamble will discuss how this is a departure from previous FTC guidance.

VI.    SAG/AFTRA and AFofM CBA Update (12:45 – 1:15 pm)
Hear the current developments in negotiations with the unions representing commercial actors, including the recent contract extension with the AFofM.
