ANA's General Counsel, Doug Wood, will discuss what's been happening with the efforts of the Coalition for Responsible Internet Domain Oversight (CRIDO), including an update on ICANN's Prague meeting and the recent decision of the Department of Commerce to award a new contract to the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority.

IV. FTC Concerns re “Up To” claims (11:30 – 12:00 pm)
The FTC recently released a study on "up to" claims about products in advertisements - claims that consumers will see a savings from their use of the advertised product "up to" a certain percentage or dollar amount. The study found that consumers often believe that they will receive the maximum benefit described in the ad. Paul Franz from Procter & Gamble will discuss how this is a departure from previous FTC guidance.
