The Telephone Directory Committee addresses issues of relevance to national advertisers who use the medium. It represents member interests to publishers, yellow pages trade associations, and other key constituents.
In April the ANA Telephone Directory Committee issued an open letter urging the Yellow Pages industry to improve its measurement practices by providing national syndicated audience measurement research and circulation auditing. The open letter also called on the Yellow Pages industry to stop the practice of directory extensions and reconsider the forced-bundling of companion books.
