ANA Divisions and Subsidiary

The Brand Activation Association, or BAA (formerly the Promotion Marketing Association) is the national non-profit trade association dedicated to the industry of marketing disciplines that motivate behavior, activate response and build brands.Founded in 1911, the BAA has championed this industry through its combination of research, education, advocacy, and collaboration opportunities. As of July 1, 2014 the BAA has been acquired by and becomes a division the ANA.
   
For more than 90 years, The Business Marketing Association (BMA) has been the pre-eminent service organization for professionals in this vital industry. As market realities so often prove, no one stays in business that long without continually meeting their customers' needs. As of December 1, 2014, the BMA has become a division of the Association of National Advertisers (ANA), giving BMA members access to several new and significant membership benefits.
   
The Advertising Educational Foundation (AEF) was created in 1983 as a non-profit, operating foundation with the mission to enrich the understanding of advertising in society, culture, history and the economy. It is supported by ad agencies, advertisers and media companies. AEF programs and activities connect with 600+ professors each year and reach over 20,000 students annually.On July 1, 2015, the AEF became a subsidiary of the ANA. This partnership will expand the role of its board of directors to further a robust academic/industry mission.
