ANA Teams with Yahoo! to Provide Extensive Content for Relaunch of Advertising.Yahoo.Com Site

The Association of National Advertisers (ANA) and Yahoo! announced today that the ANA will be a major content provider for Yahoo!'s revamped advertising website, advertising.yahoo.com. The site will now offer summaries from some of ANA's extensive collection of proprietary marketing industry information and expertise — including new research, articles and white papers. The relaunched site also features a creative gallery showcasing the industry's top creative work and a unique all-inclusive industry calendar that compiles all major industry events and conferences.

In addition to the ANA's content contributions, the site will feature content from the Art Director's Club, Effie Awards and One Club. New sections of advertising.yahoo.com include:

  • Industry Calendar: the first and only integrated industry calendar including all major events and conferences
  • Creative Gallery: a compilation of the "best-of-the best" creative campaigns (online and offline) from marketers and agencies
  • Guest Editorials: editorials from the industry's influential thinkers on how they view success, creativity, innovation and technology
  • Charlie Thomas Book Club: a "must-read" list of books with marketing implications for the advertising business

Advertising.yahoo.com will feature original research from Yahoo!'s Summit Series highlighting key industry issues and challenges for today's marketers. Past events have focused on creativity and innovation, research, and understanding different consumer segments such as the youth market and the financial services industry. The site also will highlight Yahoo! advertising and marketing solutions by industry (Auto, CPG, Entertainment, Finance, Pharmaceuticals, Retail, Tech/Telco and Travel) and guidance on its comprehensive suite of products and services.

In addition, advertising.yahoo.com will spotlight a different cartoon from The New Yorker archives each week. And finally, the site includes video of some of the "Giants of Advertising," including Leo Burnett, David Ogilvy and Lester Wunderman.
