Terri Bowers

For nearly twenty years, Terri has held progressively responsible positions in Direct Procurement, Corporate Procurement, Global Strategic Sourcing, and Stakeholder and Agency Engagement, with 13 years focused on managing marketing categories and relationships. Terri graduated from the University of Maryland - European Division with a dual major in Business Administration and Social Psychology. She received her MBA from Webster University with an emphasis in Procurement and Acquisitions. Terri joined Microsoft in 2005 where she currently delivers global thought leadership, strategic sourcing expertise, break-through technologies and organizational communications. In this role she leads and oversees more than $1.2B in global advertising and media activity, key areas of focus are to partner closely with marketing business groups, understand critical marketing trends and strategies, and develop agency and category solutions that increase efficiency and effectiveness and contribute to maximizing return on marketing investment. Additional responsibilities include leading the development of category strategy that reflects best-in-class pricing strategies and structures, supply base optimization, agency partnerships, joint process improvements, campaign effectiveness, risk mitigation and global market and industry analysis. Actively serves as an advocate for supplier diversity initiatives.

Mary Ann Brennan
Senior Director, Global Procurement
Mattel, Inc.

Mary Ann Brennan is a Senior Marketing and Operations Professional with nearly 23 years of proven strategic marketing and operations leadership. Most recently, she has led the charge in driving more than $60MM in global cost leadership initiatives within the CPG industry focusing on cost discipline and business innovation efficiencies that have contributed to gross and net profit margin growth and ultimately increased shareholder value. She has led a global indirect sourcing team focusing on categories such as marketing, advertising, legal, travel and trade show services as well as Europe, Latin America and Asia regional teams. She has held various positions with increasing levels of responsibility within the Retail, Telecommunications, Non-Profit, Entertainment, Financial Services and CPG industries. More recently some of her roles have included Vice President, Marketing for a Fortune 50 Financial Services company as well as Senior Director, Global Procurement for a Fortune 500 CPG company that is the leader in the toy manufacturing industry.

Ben Brown
Sr. Sourcing Manager

Ben Brown is a Sr. Sourcing Manager at Intuit Inc currently managing strategic sourcing for Media, Agency, Email & CRM categories globally. Based out of Toronto (Canada), he also doubles as the Business Partner for all Source-to-Pay operations for the Canadian team. Before joining Intuit, Ben was a consultant/contractor working at Microsoft – working across many roles in its Global Procurement Group – from managing programs like Travel & Card, to Operations Manager, to Marketing Sourcing. Prior to joining Microsoft's Procurement Org, Ben worked as an Operations Manager for Pitney Bowes, managing BPO teams in various roles across many blue-chip companies like Microsoft, Petro-Canada/Suncor, and American Express.

George Giassopoulos
Senior Procurement Director, Global Marketing Agencies and Media

George joined Pfizer in 2007, and is currently the Senior Procurement Director, Global Marketing & Media Agencies. His team is responsible for designing and implementing the global sourcing strategy across all marketing agency and media categories including creative, digital, PR, medical education and consumer & professional media for all Pfizer business units. Previously, George was Head of Marketing Procurement for Buyingteam Consultancy in the UK where I led reviews and delivered savings and process efficiencies for a number of high profile organizations including Universal Music, Travelex, Reuters and Comet. During his 15-year career he held senior marketing procurement positions for a number of multinational companies including Halifax Bank of Scotland and Vodafone. George has a BSc in Business Administration & Management and a Master's degree in Marketing from the University of Stirling in Scotland.

Steve Gregory

Steve is Senior Sourcing Manager at The Clorox Company. He works in close coordination with the Clorox Marketing Communications group to manage the agency relationships and compensation structures for Creative, Media, Digital, Hispanic, Shopper and Public Relations. In addition, Steve develops the vendor/agency relationships for print, entertainment marketing, social, search, events, and the consumer contact center. He has 7 years of experience working with marketing communications and over 20 years in Indirect sourcing. Prior to his current position, Steve was a Procurement Consultant, Director of Operations for a dotcom, and spent nearly 20 years at Levi Strauss & Co. in procurement and business administration. Steve has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Michigan State University and an MBA from California State University, Hayward.

Mark D. Hudson

Mark has 25 years of combined agency, marketing and procurement experience and has been on all 3 sides of the discussion regarding Marketing Services procurement - procurement, agency and marketing. Mark's responsibilities include developing market sector strategies for Marketing Services categories, sourcing and managing regional agencies in many categories as well as agency and stakeholder engagement.

Antonio Humphreys
Senior Manager, Global Procurement

Antonio Humphreys is a strategic sourcing and marketing expert with professional experience in global sourcing and negotiations, marketing and advertising management, sales consulting, and business planning across multiple industry verticals and geographies (including NASA, Shell Oil, Hewlett-Packard, Gap Inc., and Adobe Systems). He is a native of Albuquerque, New Mexico and has lived in Houston, Texas and London, England. He currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area, and works in the 'Silicon Valley'. Antonio earned his Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of New Mexico and a Master of Business Administration at the University of Houston. His passions include travel, hiking, and teaching.

Nick Kline

Nick Kline has 20 years of professional procurement experience. His team is accountable to the Scion, Toyota and Lexus brands for delivering strategic sourcing initiatives on media, creative agencies, experiential, PR agencies, production, and digital. Prior to working with Toyota, Nick held a similar position with Nissan Europe and Nissan North America with the Renault Nissan Purchasing Organization. He started his career buying lumber, steel and other raw materials for the recreational vehicle industry. Nick holds a Master's degree from Pepperdine and a Bachelor's degree from University of Cal Poly Pomona.

Kelly Mathis

Kelly Mathis is a strategic sourcing professional with experience in leading category strategies, driving negotiations & contracting, and managing strategic partner relationships in marketing. Originally from Portland, OR, Kelly started with Intuit in 2005 out of their San Diego office and has been responsible for agency and offline media, email, social, affiliate, as well as other marketing disciplines. She now leads Intuit's Sourcing Center of Excellence team, primarily focused on building the business analytics, processes, and tools that empower category leadership for her Sourcing peers. Kelly earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of San Diego. She currently resides in Portland working remotely for Intuit, and enjoys the outdoors and cheering on the Portland Timbers soccer team with her family.

Angela Robinson
Head, Agency Management Services

Angela Robinson leads a team that manages all the Agency work within the Commercial organization, spanning various categories: Creative, Digital, PR, Medical Communications and Media. She started her career in supply chain more than 15 years ago at Intel Corporation and joined Genentech in April 2013. She has spent the majority of her career working with advertising and marketing teams helping manage their agency partners. Prior to Genentech, Angela spent close to 6 years at Apple Inc. as a Global Advertising and Media Sourcing Manager. Throughout her professional career, she has had the opportunity to negotiate global projects in more than 120 countries, across all marketing and advertising procurement categories. She has been successful in collaborating globally and cross-functionally with businesses and agencies to find creative and sustainable solutions to business challenges. Angela graduated from University of San Francisco with a BS in Finance and currently resides in San Francisco, California.

George Roumanis
Sourcing Lead-Marketing Services

George Roumanis is Sourcing Lead within the Marketing Services Practice at Accenture, supporting Accenture's external clients across multiple industries in the search, selection, and ongoing management of their advertising, media, and digital agencies. Previously, he was Director, Global Marketing Procurement for InterContinental Hotels Group where he led the strategic sourcing and agency relationship management of IHG's worldwide marketing agencies. He has over 20 years' experience working within corporate marketing and strategic sourcing organizations. Prior to joining IHG, George spent over 16 years at IBM Corporation, most recently as Manager, Global Agency Operations and a member of IBM's Agency Management Team, overseeing the financial and operational aspects of IBM's advertising, media, direct marketing, interactive, and events agency relationships. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH.

Rich Sherwood

Rich Sherwood is the Director of Rich Sherwood Consulting, specializing in Marketing and Advertising Operations consulting and client and agency relationship management training. Rich was recently with Sanofi Aventis, where he was Senior Manager, Commercial Operations Procurement. While at Aventis, prior to their merger with Sanofi, Rich was Senior Manager in Marketing Operations and Head of Advertising Operations. Prior to joining Aventis, Rich was Senior Manager, Marketing Operations at Parke-Davis, a division of Warner Lambert and before Parke-Davis, the Director of Advertising Promotion Production at Conde Nast Publications. Rich has also worked in advertising agencies. His last agency position was at Hal Riney and Partners as VP, Director Creative and Production Services. He has been a member of the ANA Advertising Financial Management and Agency Relations Committees and has co-led the last two Pharma Forums. Rich is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickenson University in Teaneck, NJ where he earned a BS in Marketing and Advertising.


Angela M. Smith
Director, Strategic Purchasing

Angela is responsible for leading a team of purchasing professionals to develop and execute strategic sourcing plans and ensuring early supplier involvement in new product development. This span of control includes managing Initial and Indirect Purchasing. Angela joined BISSELL Homecare, Inc. in August of 2012 and is focused on driving the Purchasing team to source parts, goods, and services at the highest quality and the optimal total cost for the enterprise. Prior to joining BISSELL Homecare, Inc., she worked for The Home Depot where she gained extensive experience in Strategic Sourcing. She has worked in Procurement for the last twenty years. Angela received her Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University.

Sal Vitale, C.P.M

As Media Procurement Category Lead for North America at Johnson and Johnson, Sal Vitale is responsible for optimizing media spend to build brand value, and developing negotiation strategies for media agency fees, incentive based compensation models and contractual terms.Sal has a progressive career in Marketing & Advertising Procurement in Strategic Sourcing, Stakeholder Engagement and Supplier Relationship Management at Fortune 500 companies, (Johnson & Johnson, American Express, CIT). He has broad experience in driving category management strategies and improving operational efficiencies across creative, digital and media agencies, which result in maximized value, spend optimization and risk mitigation. Sal, graduated from Baruch College with a BBA in Business Management, received his MBA in Marketing Management from Wagner College and completed a MBA program in Digital Marketing at Rutgers. Sal is former President of Institute of Supply Management, a CPM with lifetime certification and recipient of the prestigious J.H. Leonard Award, (Procurement Professional of the year).  Sal is involved in industry leadership as a co-chair of The Procurement Task Force of the Association of National Advertisers and mentor in the ANA mentoring program.
