    "Case Study on Bing Launch"

Insights into the successful consumer launch of Microsoft's new search engine - Bing. "Today, search engines do a decent job of helping people navigate the Web and find information, but they don't do a very good job of enabling people to use the information they find," said Steve Ballmer, Microsoft CEO. "When we set out to build Bing, we grounded ourselves in a deep understanding of how people really want to use the Web. Bing is an important first step forward in our long-term effort to deliver innovations in search that enable people to find information quickly and use the information they've found to accomplish tasks and make smart decisions."

    10:00 am - Scott Davis,

Senior Partner, Prophet Consultancy and author of Brand Asset Management:

    Today's Marketer, Tomorrow's Growth Leader?

Traditional marketers today live in a short-term world, built on an ever- narrowing platform of marketing communications and promotions. They are often limited to running agency relationships and enabling the sales force, and are constantly being squeezed for funds they do not have. But the days of marketing strategies and business strategies being created separate and apart from one another are coming to an end. The best marketers are now creating integrated perspectives that start with the growth aspirations of the entire organization.

Join us as Scott M. Davis, author of The Shift, which outlines how marketing executives can become successful catalysts for growth within their organization. Scott will discuss the increasingly important role of marketing in the boardroom and how it should have more impact on company growth. He will provide advice and practical tools which will allow you to devise new and better ways to win over new customers while building deeper and more meaningful relationships with current customers - all while keeping competitors at bay.

    11:00 am - Vince Messina

Sr. Director, West Region Sales, Microsoft Advertising

The New Media Mix: Connecting the Dots in a Multi-Screen Environment

The media landscape is currently experiencing a sea of change driven by shifting consumer behavior - media is increasingly at the center of consumers' lives, as consumers interact with media across a rapidly-expanding landscape of screens, devices, and platforms. The evolution in technology coupled with this shift in consumer behavior requires advertisers to engage audiences in more relevant ways through the channels and screens that those audiences prefer.  Advertisers who execute cohesive marketing campaigns across multiple screens establish more consistent and meaningful connections with these audiences and ultimately drive brand affinity and business results.  Hear how Microsoft Advertising effectively engages audiences through innovative experiences across multiple screens - PC, Mobile, and TV via the XBOX - and advertiser case studies who have had success in doing so.

The presentation explores global brands that have stood the test of time, while examining brand imagery by decade, starting at the 19th century. You'll gain insights about imagery trends across our century's most notable brand icons, including Coke, Apple, Ford, Juicy Couture and others. The retrospective will be followed by a panel discussion of brand leaders and their evolution in the use of imagery.
