Mark McNeilly

Mark is a Lecturer at the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He teaches branding in the Executive MBA program and marketing in the MBA@UNC online program. Prior to teaching full-time Mark served as a global marketing executive and has several years of experience with both IBM and Lenovo. Mark graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota’s MBA program.

Mark is the author of three books, including the popular strategy book based on Sun Tzu’s Art of War, titled Sun Tzu and the Art of Business: Six Strategic Principles for Managers (Oxford University Press, 2011). He is also an Expert Blogger for Fast Company magazine.

Mark has presented to corporations, business people in the U.S. Europe and Asia and been interviewed on the BBC, C-SPAN, CNBC’s TV Show Power Lunch and other TV and radio programs. He most recently appeared on a History Channel special on Sun Tzu’s Art of War.
