Nicole Ames is the founder and principal at Twist IMC a consultancy she created to help corporations better understand and implement best-practice principles of integrated marketing and social media. Nicole gained client-side experience working at Fortune 500 companies such as Liberty Mutual and Western Union. At Western Union, she served as the director of global communications and created the first integrated plan for 250,000 agent locations worldwide. At Liberty Mutual, Nicole contributed to the award-winning “Responsibility Project” managing print and online advertising, as well as mobile and social media initiatives.
Nicole is an ANA Faculty member and also teaches integrated marketing and social media at Boston University, where she has been an adjunct professor in the School of Management since 2009. She earned her master’s degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where she began teaching as a research fellow. Today, Nicole is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and is an active member of the ANA, the Ad Club of Boston, the MIT Enterprise Forum, and she is an ANA Faculty member.
