Pat LaPointe

Pat LaPointe is executive vice president, Americas for MarketShare, responsible for all client services and development in the areas of marketing analytics adoption.  He is an expert in the development of client solutions for chief marketing officers that include skills, structure, processes, and tools for improving marketing measurement through greater alignment and accountability.  MarketShare recently acquired MarketingNPV, where he was founder and managing partner.  Prior to launching MarketingNPV, Mr. LaPointe was an equity partner and senior vice president at Frequency Marketing Inc., and he directed the operation of a marketing and sales department at Bell Atlantic (now Verizon).  He began his career in global account management in the Young & Rubicam network and at Ketchum Advertising

Mr. LaPointe remains editor-in-chief of MarketingNPV Journal and authored the book Marketing by the Dashboard Light: How to Get More Insight, Foresight, and Accountability from Your Marketing Investments.

He holds an M.B.A. from New York University’s Stern School of Business at and a B.S. in communications from McGill University in Montreal.  Mr. LaPointe is a frequent keynote speaker for the ANA and a guest lecturer at leading business schools such as Wharton, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Dartmouth, and Columbia.
