    Marketing Director - Market Research & Insights -- Louisville, Kentucky

    Assignment Capsule:
    As a Market Research & Insights Director you will facilitate learning and fact-based decision making for Humana and guide the organization in considering the "Voice of the Customer" in all actions. You will be responsible for defining Humana's business drivers vs. the competitions and tracking Humana's progress against those drivers, to include:

    • Business Assessment and Market Conditions; customer needs hierarchy, segmentation and needs analysis, brand differentiators, purchaser decision making cycle, pricing
    • Product Development and Testing; product needs development, concept development and testing, pricing studies, product positioning research
    • Business Intelligence; in market tracking and performance, customer satisfaction trackers, loyalty - recommendation ratings, brand health tracking - brand awareness and familiarity, competitive intelligence and assessments, trends, new product development, program analysis or measurement, promotion evaluation
    • Strategy/Planning; lessons learned/market dynamics facilitation, market analysis to identify strategic business building opportunities
    • Generate findings and share across the organization both proactively and reactively
    • Formulate insights; champion and drive insights
    • Help Humana become a learning organization

    Reporting Relationships:

    • You will report to the Core Functions Marketing Director. This area is under the leadership of the Chief Innovation and Marketing Officer.

    Qualifications

    Role Essentials:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or similar
    • Minimum of seven years experience leading a Market Research function
    • High Technical Competence and analytical skills
    • Deep understanding of the request process, questionnaire - design, analytic, metrics, crafting studies to address question/business problem, ability to choose correct vehicle to solve - process they use to select
    • Extensive vendor management experience
    • Ability to develop custom studies to meet business needs
    • Ability to measure and increase brand awareness
    • Significant experience leading teams

    Role Desirables:

    • Master's Degree of Business Administration
    • Expertise in metrics and analytics
    • P&L experience
