Position Summary

Support the strategic and tactical implementation of ANA marketing, communications, and brand-building activities in a manner that drives business results. Define, develop, and cultivate a digital vision and strategy that delivers on the ANA’s goals, maximizes member engagement, and keeps the organization at the forefront of digital marketing. Drive company-wide passion for and knowledge of digital marketing trends, new technologies, and media platforms. Measure and report on the ROI and impact of all digital programs. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal communication/project management skills and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Reports to the EVP and Chief Marketing Officer.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Manage ongoing digital marketing strategies for the ANA, supporting sales enablement/lead generation, audience building, and event activations
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the ANA through real-time digital activations, paid amplification, content development, and content distribution
  • Promote consistent brand messaging across all digital platforms
  • Review/implement new technologies to keep the company at the forefront of digital marketing
  • Recommend budget allocations to drive digital marketing initiatives
  • Support ANA Newsstand’s continued digital development on the website, working closely with the editorial team
  • Actively monitor website traffic/activity via Google Analytics and develop recommendations to improve the usability of the site
  • Establish guidelines, processes, and sound metrics for all digital properties (website, social, and email)
  • Measure impact of digital programs to make informed recommendations/decisions on future digital marketing plans and investment
  • Develop a trend monitoring report leveraging current analytics platforms (Google Analytics and NUVI)
  • Lead company-wide “Lunch and Learns” to share metrics and insights surrounding digital activities, and provide education on reporting platforms and how the business lines can use them to make better decisions
  • Work with business lines and social media manager on digital campaign planning
  • Manage ANA Events app for all national industry conferences; work with the events team on maintaining the correct information on the app and work with the sponsorship team on providing options to sell the app as a sponsorship at industry conferences
  • Develop AdWords campaigns around key ANA initiatives and events to drive greater awareness of them and the ANA as a whole
  • Drive the ongoing digital development and execution of the ANA’s “Makes a Difference” campaign
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Minimum 5-plus years of digital marketing experience
  • Undergraduate degree in digital marketing or business preferred
  • Experience with HTML, Google Analytics, Microsoft Suite, Adobe, and Flash
  • Knowledge of marketing and advertising industry preferred
  • Top-notch communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple daily deadlines and multiple assignments
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Exceptional ability to lead, influence, and work across business units
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and creative
  • Works effectively independently and in a team environment
  • Strong computer/database experience required
