Digital Project Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced Digital Project Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and smooth operation of various digital projects, including paid media, UX, SEO, content, social media, analytics, optimization, creative and development solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

This role is part of the Digital Governance team within the Hertz Global Digital Marketing organization. This team is focused on helping the organization deliver projects from start to finish, while ensuring digital best practice and standardization is followed.   

 

For this position, we expect you to be a tech-savvy marketing professional with an in-depth understanding of how technology can help us achieve our business goals, specifically through digital marketing channels. You should be methodical and have excellent time management skills. As a Digital Project Manager, you should also use your communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

 

Ultimately, you should be able to manage and deliver our projects’ digital lifecycle within quality, time and budget requirements.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  
  • Help streamline the process of managing digital projects from concept to completion within budget and using a certain amount of resources.
  • Take ownership of project needs/requests and provide end-to-end project management on various sizes projects within digital marketing team.
  • Facilitate feedback and requirements to multiple stakeholders and agency partners
  • Help develop and maintain requirements and request intakes for digital marketing channels
  • Help to support Digital Marketing Operations, which includes but is not limited to, digital and AEM updates, content management, process management and communications management
  • Communicate with the team and ensure all members are on board with delegated tasks
  • Seek opportunities for improvement and suggest new projects based on knowledge of multi-channel marketing mix
  • Assist with management of project management software and enhancing the platform to meet the needs of our teams
  • Flexibility in managing projects in Agile or waterfall methodologies
REQUIREMENTS
Education Minimum Requirement:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or other relevant field.
Required Experience and Skills:       
  • 4+ years of proven work experience as a Digital project manager
  • Hands on experience with project management software, like Workfront, Basecamp and Trello
  • Development of process flows and guideline documentation
  • Understanding of SEO and Google Analytics
  • Familiarity with Content Management systems (AEM/Wordpress) and HTML/CSS
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office suite (including advanced Excel skills and advanced PowerPoint usage)
  • Detail-oriented and focused on task completion
