Manager, Digital Testing

As the Digital Testing Manager, you will work across multiple areas of the organization including brand, digital marketing, product, user experience, IT and web analytics to design and implement tests that improve the performance of Hertz’ websites, mobile apps and other customer facing digital platforms. This role will work with a team that is passionate about using data to help improve customer experience and digital performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and own testing road map that defines initiatives that achieve target KPIs
  • Manage the complete lifecycle of digital testing for Hertz E-Commerce spanning
  • Display and paid digital marketing
  • User Experience
  • Email
  • Promotional performance
  • Manage test scheduling, prioritization, configuration and execution
  • Proactively consults with stakeholders across the organization on goals, hypotheses, test design, measurement and assessment
  • Quantifies test results and measures impact
  • Documents and communicates results to the organization
  • Reports to Director
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative field with training in experimental design, social survey design and statistics
  • 5-7 years' experience in digital testing at an agency or E-Commerce company
  •  5-7 years’ experience measuring web, marketing or overall digital performance
  • Expert knowledge of A/B and multivariate testing methodology and statistical techniques
  • Expert knowledge of Maxymiser or similar tools (Adobe Target, Monetate, Optimizely, etc.
  • Experience in Mobile application testing (Android and iOS)
  • High level of comfort working with analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Domo, Tableau or similar)
  • Demonstrated history of delivering value through original contribution
  • Comfort recognizing, trouble shooting and solving problems
  • Strong relationship-building and problem solving skills
  • Exceptional story-telling skills and comfort in communicating technical insight to lay audiences
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask while working in a rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as individually
Preferred Experience
  • Advanced degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, life or physical science, psychology or quantitative field
  • 5-10 years’ experience at an e-commerce or online retailer
  • Working knowledge of R, Python, SQL, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, or other programming languages
