Come join Intuit Strategic Sourcing as a Group Manager for Marketing Sourcing.  In this role, you will be expected to be a strong leader and able to take on highly complex Sourcing responsibilities.  You will manage and mentor a team of category leaders who develop a deep understanding of their Marketing clients’ sourcing needs and develop a strategy to meet their needs as well as the Intuit goals.  Through your thought leadership, direction, and people leadership, this team will be able to deliver awesome experience for our clients.  You will contribute in the following ways:  

  • Understand marketing industry trends, supplier ecosystem, specific partner business models to drive additional value for internal clients and Intuit.  Collaborate with CMO and other marketing leaders to provide a strong voice to guide the clients’ experience and strategy  
  • Be a trusted business advisor to all marketing clients and influence with strong domain knowledge and business acumen
  • Create and execute strong category strategies, which may include data analytics, opportunity assessment, cost savings, complex or high-risk contract negotiation, sourcing execution, or supplier relationship management
  • Strong track record of identifying and executing, and coaching others to do so, on opportunities that drive cost savings, efficiencies, or enhanced effectiveness within assigned categories
  • Leads, influences, and guides team members in the prioritization, development, planning and implementation of multiple client strategies
  • Own group business goals and activities, while balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders to ensure objectives are met or exceeded
  • Drive supplier value and supplier capabilities through regular operating reviews and strong supplier relationship management reviews
  • Relationship management 
  • Identify and resolve issues, friction points to achieving goals and manage to operational efficienc

 

Qualifications
  • Superior communication (written/verbal), presenting and meeting facilitation skills
  • Skilled at creating compelling business cases and presenting to gain internal and external commitment    
  • Experience and track record of building high performing teams 
  • Successful coaching and mentoring team members
  • Strongtrack record building strategic partnerships (internal and external)   
  • Experience in preparing and making presentations to business unit leaders and senior executives
  • Deep understanding of supplier base within the industry, supplier models, and economics
  • Able to create a strategic vision, identify and maximize opportunities, and execute to deliver results
  • Comfortable navigating large and complex organizations, able to influence cross functionally and gain stakeholder buy-in
  • 7+ years’ experience in Sourcing/Procurement
  • Leadership of a Marketing Sourcing team and/or experience in marketing a plus
  • Exceptional analytical, communications, and presentation skills
  • BA/BS required; MBA or equivalent from a nationally recognized institution preferred
