The Digital and Social Education Manager has an integral role in the creation and development of the Moroccanoil Education message through digital materials and content, as well as social media. This position also manages the Moroccanoil Professional Influencer Program. The role serves to support all Moroccanoil Education creative materials including, but not limited to, websites, photos and videos for the consumer and beauty professional, for both internal and external usage. This individual assists with the development of loyal customers by providing superior service to all Moroccanoil staff, distributors and salon professionals. The role reports directly to the Global Director of Education with a working responsibility to the Digital Team.





Provide a comprehensive digital content strategy that reflects the brand’s launches and programs, education initiatives and any other requested content Execute and produce digital education content and maintain a production calendar Manage all aspects of the Moroccanoil Professional Influencer Program, including daily direct contact with influencers Develop and update/monitor all digital educational materials including, but not limited to, step-by-steps, how-to videos and technical tutorials, while ensuring a consistent and appropriate organizational image Work closely with digital marketing, design and other departments to plan, develop and execute brand technical videos, photo shoots and more, as well as other education materials and projects as needed Work directly with the Education Development Manager to coordinate all digital and social needs for education development, field education, marketing and sales Develop consumer education assets and online education training materials with the Digital Team Coordinate with Digital Team to plan education content regularly scheduled on social media channels including live webinars, Facebook, Facebook Live and Instagram Manage trade media plans for North American trade outlets Manage the Moroccanoil Professionals website , upload and plan content, and lead its overall strategy Lead the development, implementation and maintenance of an online education platform Track and organize Education Department budget and expenses for digital projects Research and share digital ideas and industry/functional best practices to advance the strategic direction of Moroccanoil Education




Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree

Minimum three years’ experience in the beauty industry Experience with digital and/or social media strategy Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access Experience in developing curriculum and educational formats Strong interpersonal skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Professional attitude and timeliness Ability to perform job function efficiently and reliably as an individual and as part of a team Impeccable organizational and project management skills Creative writing skills Current Cosmetology license a plus but not required
