Job Description

This role partners with business marketing to develop and execute strategic marketing communications plans, campaigns, product/market-level marketing programs and events to achieve defined performance and sales objectives. Provides day-to-day leadership in marketing communications and executional support to assigned business partners.

Provides subject matter thought leadership, strategic and executional excellence, consistent and streamlined processes, improved efficiency and cost savings. Key emphasis is on value added communications strategy, consulting and planning, as well as flawless execution of full spectrum of all communications disciplines, including promotion, interactive, advertising, direct marketing, social media, public relations, relationship marketing, event marketing and channel marketing.

Qualifications

Experience-Education (Required)   
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications (or other related field) or 10+ years marketing communications management experience in lieu of degree. 8+ years' experience planning & implementing integrated marketing communications and sales promotion projects with an emphasis in interactive and relationship marketing in a B2B/dealer environment.
 
Competencies-Skills (Required)
Proven experience and expertise in integrated communications planning and execution across the full range of vehicles and media. Innovative, strategic thinker with strong service orientation and proven ability to build strong relationships with business partners, instilling respect and trust. Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills. Proactive and results-driven, with strong project management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and effectively with agency partners and internal marketing team/cross-functional teams. Flexible and able to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously with keen attention to detail. Budget tracking and performance measurement experience, with ability to report, analyze and recommend course corrections.  Strong appetite for learning and fast learning curve. Public speaking and presentation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications.
 
Experience-Education (Preferred)
Experience or background in animal nutrition, animal husbandry or agriculture a strong plus. Experience marketing through co-ops and/or dealer channels preferred. Consumer packaged goods experience also a plus.
 
Competencies-Skills (Preferred)
Demonstrated ability to drive incremental sales volume through dealer/channel programs and other promotional campaigns/initiatives, including interactive marketing.
 
Travel Percentage - 10%
