Once an application receives ANA Board approval, member companies are invited and encouraged to fully engage in ANA activities.
Your ANA Region Manager will follow a systematic approach to foster your team engagement This process includes the following steps:
Provide a roster of company marketers - this permits us to immediately provide your team with a complimentary copy of ANA's magazine "The Advertiser", an industry must read just chocked full of case histories, best practices and important marketing insights, and our "Marketing Insights" newsletter.
Schedule a Team Briefing - your ANA region manager will, at a convenient time for your marketing team, present a summary of ANA benefits outline to ensure all understand the value ANA offers, how to engage with ANA's products and services, and suggestions on how other members extract full membership value.
Draft a Member Action Plan (MAP) - this is the core of each membership. This confidential "contract' is built specifically to outline how ANA will service your team/organization - how we will help provide solutions to the agreed upon issues and challenges that you and your team face. This generic MAP example (link) illustrates how we highlight your issues, then focus our team on finding the right solutions.
Deliver an On-site Complimentary Workshop - ANA offers members an annual ½ day complimentary workshop. Members are asked to cover reasonable travel costs for the workshop facilitators. These workshops provide your organization with an immediate return on your membership, help members efficiently address key internal issues (i.e., agency evaluation, lean marketing, creative strategy, scenario planning) and enhance your team's internal skill level.
Attend ANA Master of Marketing Annual Conference - Ad Age has tapped our annual meeting as a "must attend event". This marketing community event attracts key marketing thought leaders, puts CMOs on the stage to share their brand stories, and gives your team a unique opportunity to network with their peers. Company member representatives receive a complimentary registration (1/company). We also offer a very attractive and cost efficient corporate package to encourage multiple attendees from each member company.
Semi-Annual Review - half way into your introductory year we audit our performance against our MAP/contract to ensure we are on target, making any adjustments necessary to meet or exceed your expectations. Or we revise the target if we are exceeding goal. A member satisfaction survey is fielded in January and June to make certain we have the feedback we need to determine whether or not we are performing at expected levels.
