While in London in late October, we participated in a discussion on key trends impacting the agency holding companies with marketing consultants ID Comms (who, among their other activities, help some of the world's largest companies define their internal and external marketing needs, including selection of the media agencies they will work with) as part of the firm's weekly "MediaSnack" series, available via YouTube. Brian Wieser is a senior analyst at Pivotal Research, where he covers advertising-related securities including media owners, agencies, data, and marketing technology companies. Prior to joining Pivotal, Brian was CMO for ad tech company Simulmedia and spent eight years as the global head of forecasting for Interpublic's Magna Global, and spent several years in investment banking and equity research at Lehman Brothers and Deutsche Bank.
