Marilyn Mersereau, senior vice president, corporate marketing, Cisco Systems, Inc., discussed how Cisco will continue to grow, despite the economic downturn, thanks to their focus on video technologies. Cisco Systems has become number 14 on Interbrand’s best global brand’s list (valued at $23.2 billion), as the result of a marketing strategy that focuses on embedding Cisco technologies into advertising properties, instead of buying a lot ad time. They will continue to expand their digital footprint during the 2010 holidays with the launch of their in-home telepresence tool, Umi.
