Amway uses independent business distributors and a direct-selling model to reach over 100 countries in 64 languages worldwide. The direct-selling model relies on building relationships within communities, both traditional and digital, which is why Amway considers itself the original social network. Jori Hartwig, chief marketing officer at Amway North America, shared Amway’s approach to successfully targeting multicultural markets through cross-platform strategies, diverse employee talent, and bilingual campaigns.
