Executive Summary

One of Macy’s overall business strategies is three-pronged, with focus on “My Macy’s,” omni-channel marketing, and “magic selling” — each of which has mobile at the core. My Macy’s utilizes mobile devices to help personalize the shopping experience, omni-channel marketing allows for consumers to shop Macy’s wherever and whenever they want with mobile helping them create a more seamless experience, and magic selling is a technique utilized by Macy’s staff which is enhanced by the tools and technology available via mobile. In this video, Jennifer Kasper, group vice president, digital media and multicultural marketing, Macy’s, discussed how mobile fits into Macy’s business strategy.
