Lionel Knight, Senior Vice President, Consumer Insight and Planning, Upshot will share experiences he has gained helping clients develop and execute the tactics necessary to successfully implement intuitive in-store experiences. Upshot has created an Intuitive Retail Model that provides a new way to look at and utilize the in-store space as an effective marketing tool.

1:30 pm - Innovating and Re-Defining the Customer Experience. Scott Davis and Dennis Cary, Senior Vice President, Marketing, United Airlines will outline how, in an industry not known for good experiences, United used this concept to create a strong difference. They will demonstrate how United broke through the clutter, by becoming more customer-centric strategy and improving their customer experience for its most valued customers. You will learn how United tapped into customer insights and utilized stakeholders from key functions throughout the company to innovate the end-to-end customer expereience and develop a unique "service philosophy", aimed at delivering "travel experiences that make customers feel respected, relaxed and rewarded."
2:30 pm - Social Media - How to develop a social media campaign and how it fits in with your marketing mix. Raphael Louis Viton, President, Maddock Douglas, Inc.will tackle this topic. Key takeaways will include: Insights into developing a social media strategy vs getting tactical (doing all the cool things everyone else is doing) - some best and worst case examples. Educate on how to develop a social media strategy including forecasting and measurement (the 4 critical steps). Give a real life example of a social media campaign.
