This event is over.

How to Create a Strong Visual Hierarchy
Every day consumers are bombarded with thousands of visual messages that compete for our attention.  Breakthroughs in Vision Science have shown that people only notice a small fraction of these messages and our vision system may not even process all the elements we do notice.  In this presentation, we will discuss 5 keys to creating a strong visual hierarchy that will help assure that your messages are getting through, and how to use these keys to create advertising and marketing materials that get visual attention!

1. Decide on your visual goals and what you want the hierarchy to be
2. Value of Faces and Text - They are special to the brain!
3. Contrast is important
4. Less is more - removing distractors can improve your ability to get attention to your goals
5. Evaluate designs on location; super impose signs into the locations they will be used to determine how they will perform.
