Fillion joined Cirque du Soleil in 2000 as Senior Brand Director, responsible for one of the most widely recognized entertainment brands in the world. Her mandate included managing the positioning of Cirque du Soleil across its 50 country footprint and developing new business and show brands, along with related communications.
As guardian of Cirque du Soleil’s brand image, Fillion led several exhaustive studies on the values, equity and impact of the Cirque du Soleil brand. Between 2002 and 2010 she also oversaw all marketing activities for the launch of 11 shows.
In 2010, she was appointed Director of Creation for the Images, Events and Lifestyle division where she oversees all creative endeavors related to TV programming, film, new media and custom-made special events.
Before joining Cirque du Soleil, Fillion was Brand Director for Molson Export and Molson Dry at Molson Breweries, and Marketing Director and New Product Director at Culinar.
Fillion earned her B.A. from Laval University (Quebec) and M.B.A. from the University of Montreal.
Her experience in brand management and creative directorship allows Fillion to bring a unique mix of left and right brain knowledge to her leadership style, and to recognize unusual opportunities and advantages in the overlap of these two worlds.
Just before this ANA event, it was announced that Fillion has become Executive Producer at Sid Lee Entertainment, a joint venture between Cirque du Soleil and Sid Lee that Fillion will oversee.
