Jay Altschuler is an accomplished marketing leader with over 25 years of experience. As senior vice president of global media and agency relations, he oversees Mastercard’s paid media investments worldwide and governs the relationship of the company’s agencies of record.
Bringing extensive knowledge to bear, he is focused on elevating brand affection and impact while driving greater efficiency and sustainability across efforts. Prior to Mastercard, Mr. Altschuler led Samsung’s global media and partnerships division, as well as Unilever’s global media innovation group. Amid the internet boom of the late 1990s and early 2000s, he played a key role in driving the digital media transformation for several brands while working with marketing agencies like Starcom and PHD, and internet start-up company Agency.com. Mr. Altschuler has developed award-winning media campaigns for beloved consumer brands like Coca-Cola, Procter & Gamble, Kraft, and Discovery Networks.
Mr. Altschuler graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.A. in business administration and marketing.
