Luiz (Guto) Andrade leads an eclectic group of designers, architects, strategists, and storytellers responsible for Under Armour’s retail experience. Previously, he was global creative director at Sony, where he oversaw the launch of the company’s new direct-to-consumer store format and later the redesign of the brand design language. Prior to Sony, Mr. Andrade headed the global brand design team at Motorola for nine years. The group was responsible for the visual look of the brand and its expression at retail, advertising, events, and internal communications. He has developed identity systems, packaging, and environments for global brands such as Coca-Cola, FIFA, Nike, and Carrefour. Mr. Andrade holds a master’s in visual communications design from Purdue University.
