Mark Bachmann is Partner and Chief Client Officer of Marcus Thomas LLC, an integrated agency with 225 people in Cleveland, Ohio and Buenos Aires, Argentina. The agency provides brand marketing communications consulting and digital marketing for a diverse group of clients across a range of industries.
Mark began his career in 1983, when the emerging media was cable television. Mark and a couple of partners then bought Ira Thomas Associates, a small agency in Youngstown. Today the agency is $211 in capitalized billing. Its secret to success comes from a focus on applying advanced marketing thinking to solve business challenges.
In 2000, Mark and his partners acquired Cleveland-based Marcus Advertising to become Marcus Thomas. In 2011, the agency acquired DigiKnow, a digital marketing and technology firm with offices in Cleveland and Buenos Aires. And in 2018 it acquired Devs United, a sales and marketing automation company with a focus on SalesForce platform optimization.
Mark is a member of the 4A’s Board of Directors and is a passionate Chairman of the Board of Directors of Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Cleveland.
