Scott Becher joined Carnival Cruise Line in June 2017 as the company’s vice president, head of partnerships. Mr. Becher is responsible for leading Carnival Cruise Line’s partnership strategy, negotiation and activation. This involves integrated marketing efforts across all engagement platforms and multiple guest touchpoints, including onboard entertainment, retail, digital, social and experiential. Current Carnival partnerships include: Build-A-Bear, Dr. Seuss, Hasbro, Hershey’s, Houston Texans, New Orleans Saints, Miami Heat, Michaels, Guy Fieri and Shaquille O’Neal. Scott is recognized as a content innovator and sponsorship industry leader. He recently served as chief integration officer at Zimmerman Advertising. Previously, Mr. Becher founded boutique agency Sports & Sponsorships, with clients including Gillette, Hershey’s, Sprint and the United States Olympic Committee. He began his career as a producer/director at NFL Films, followed by sponsorship marketing positions at advertising agencies Saatchi & Saatchi and Clarion/DMB&B. Mr. Becher is a founder of SportsTalk 790 “The Ticket,” South Florida’s leading sports radio station. He also served on the inaugural board of advisors for the Sports Business Daily. Scott holds two degrees from Northwestern University, a master’s in advertising/integrated marketing and a bachelor’s in journalism.
